CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    Specially tailored advanced study production or professional production that supports the students' own professional development. The production is done through teamwork between different artistic departments or areas of expertise. The production can be a part of the students' MA thesis work.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Evaluation methods vary in accordance with the content of the production.
    Assessment methods: results compared to the students' personal objectives, mastering the process, documenting the materials and the process.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    15cp = 405 hours of work. Max 10 hours of personal tutoring from a supervising tutor, 395 hours of independent work.

    Working with the production team and independently in the student's respective field of expertise. The work method varies depending on the need of each discipline or the content of different productions.
    The production team determines the schedules and working methods. The process includes artistic plans and collaboration, presentations, responsibility of mastering the realisation process of the student's own work and participating in the realisation if needed.
    The working process has to be documented and the students may use it as part of their thesis. Students negotiate with their own tutor or professor before starting the production and prepare the production plan.
    Students may receive max 10 hours of personal tutoring from a supervising tutor upon agreement with their professor, if needed. Students make a production report after the production is finished.

    Students need to be in contact with their own discipline’s responsible professor in advance and ensure that earlier studies guarantee needed skills to participate to each production, as well as discuss how the production is part of the student's personal study plan (HOPS).
