- understand Finnish language structure
- understand and be able to respond in Finnish in routine situations
- be able to introduce yourself and tell a little about yourself
- have tools to learn more Finnish on your own.

Content

    Greetings. Introducing yourself. Numerals. Food and shopping vocabulary. Days of the week, times and other central expressions of time. Work and university-related vocabulary. Places and expressions of location.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The students can complete the course completely independently, but the students will receive feedback from the course tutor on some of the assignments. Students must complete 90 % of the materials by the end of the course.
