LEARNING OUTCOMES

Student understands and can follow the process of scientific discovery. Student is also capable of scientific and logical argumentation, both in writing and in oral communication, in a credible and constructive way when defending his/her own thesis at its various phases and commenting on other students plans, reports and presentations.

    The seminar is designed to help the students prepare their thesis. In the joint seminar sessions student gets guidance how to select a thesis topic and manage thesis as a project. In the thesis seminar a student obtains comments and constructive criticism from the instructor and other seminar participants. Two thesis seminar presentations facilitate learning and organize the thesis work by setting concrete goals and timetables,

All MSc students will be contacted per e-mail with further instructions on registering to a seminar group.
