Please note! Course description is confirmed for two academic years, which means that in general, e.g. Learning outcomes, assessment methods and key content stays unchanged. However, via course syllabus, it is possible to specify or change the course execution in each realization of the course, such as how the contact sessions are organized, assessment methods weighted or materials used.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Distinguish basic principles of the testing methods and techniques of concrete structures, their advantages and limitations
  2. Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Destructive Testing (DT) for concrete structures using suitable devices related to the "in-situ" and laboratory testing
  3. Evalute the performance of concrete structures and elements using different testing methods
  4. Be able to select suitable destructive and non-destructive techniques for inspection of different concrete structures
