LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Apply concepts and theories to the analysis and design of structural systems made of concrete; wood; or steel, and steel-concrete composite materials.
  • Present design details with production drawings
  • Gain design experiences and skills through comprehensive design projects
  • Apply design codes especially Eurocodes to the structural design
  • Apply design software to analyse and design structural systems against various types of loads
  • Develop understanding of professional and ethical issues related to structural design
  • Be ready for lifelong learning in structural engineering
