LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course will familiarize you with the uses and challenges of creativity in contemporary marketing. You will gain both theoretical as well as practical understanding of issues like brainstorming, insight generation, user-centric innovation, and creative groups processes, just to name a few.

    Students will be exposed to a variety of theories and techniques relating to creativity in the marketing context. Contents will vary depending on instructor. Students will be applying their learnings in a course-long project.

    Registration:

    The number of students admitted to the course is restricted to 50. Priority is given to (1) Aalto BSc Marketing students, (2) BIZ students. Attendance at the last two sessions is mandatory. 

    The course replaces previous Driving Creativity and Innovation in Marketing courses (MARK-C0079 Driving Creativity and Innovation in Marketing: User-Centric Innovations, MARK-C1079 Driving Creativity and Innovation in Marketing: Consumer Insights and Creative Transformations and 23C79050 Innovations in an Age of Constant Change) and course 23E76050 Creativity in Marketing. Students who have completed any of the Driving Creativity and Innovation in Marketing courses or Creativity in Marketing course earlier are not allowed to complete this course.
