LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course enables the student to

  1. understand the benefits of digital modelling in fashion design and production
  2. understand the basics of digital modelling
  3. solve problems and utilize digital modelling in their own design process
  4. know how digital modelling is used in the fashion industries.

CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course provides possibilities in digital modelling in fashion industry. Course consists of lectures, seminars, examples and visitors. Students learn the basics of Clo3D software and how to make digital product prototypes. Exercises lead to a digital collection which will be displayed at the end of the course.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Course assignments. 100% active attendance in class, of which up to 20% absence can be compensated with homework.
