CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The course consists of group work, lectures, workshops, tutoring sessions and meetings with the external stakeholder. Students are introduced to presenting, promoting, marketing and selling surface patterns. The students create a collection of surface designs as a team based on a design brief from the customer (external stakeholder). Contents vary from one implementation to the next depending on the external stakeholder and the scope of the collaboration project.

    Please note that the course is linked to the course MUO-E1079 Textile Design Concept and requires the knowledge and skills acquired from the course material: Online Guidebook in Surface Design.

         

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    The final grade for the course is based on student’s attendance and participation in the contact teaching as well as group work and the assignments that the students complete during the course. Students must attend and actively participate in at least 80% of the contact teachings. The introductory session is mandatory.

    Overall workload (6cr): 162 h. Minimum 80% attendance in contact teaching is required.
