LEARNING OUTCOMES

After successfully completing this course, the students are able to:

  • Analyze the position of user experience-related work in an organization;
  • Apply a suitable employee interview method in a workplace setting;
  • Evaluate one’s own approach to improving user experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Content

    The major part of the course is about studying the work of user experience professionals. Based on this learning, the last part of the course consists of a reflection of one’s own professional approach and career plan.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Assignments. 100% active attendance, of which 20% can be covered with additional assignment.

    Overall workload 3 cr = 81 h:

    • Contact teaching (10h): Lectures, Tutoring sessions, Teamwork presentations
    • Independent work (60h): Field research as teamwork, peer learning of professional approaches, reflective report of personal mindset, skillset, toolset, and career plans, literature study
    • Personal reflection (8h)
    • Course evaluation (1h)
