CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    In this course, we learn about diverse contemporary artistic and art pedagogical practices with individuals, groups of people and communities in institutional and non-institutional contexts, particularly focusing on the Nordic context. The course prepares students to make ethical, responsible and respectful decisions when working with art pedagogical and art-based approaches in different contexts. During the course, students will plan a pedagogical project and present it to others.

    This course is co-organized with Aalborg University, Denmark. All class session are taught in hybrid, and half of the students participate in the course from Copenhagen. We use Aalto OpenLearning instead of MyCourses. If you are not a student of Nordic Master in Visual Studies and Art Education, please contact the teacher in charge for further details.
