Content

In the course Curatorial Theory Expanded, we will discuss key ideas that have shaped curatorial practice. The course thematic focus changes every year to respond to the current debates in art and curating. Examples of previous subjects explored and discussed in the course: social and environmental justice, digital materiality, decolonisation, feminism and intersectionality, etc.
Each different thematic focus allows us to explore expanded ways and modes of thinking about curating.
The course fosters innovative thinking, acting as a laboratory and incubator for creative critical inquiry and future curatorial projects.
Assessment Methods and Criteria

Participation in teaching, completed assignments.
Minimum 80% attendance.
