LEARNING OUTCOMES

At course completion, you will:

- be able to participate in conversations in familiar situations relating to your own work and everyday life, when your conversation partner is ready to help you. You will be able to talk about, for instance, your plans for the near future.

- be able to search for the information you need from simple authentic sources (e.g. timetables, ads for apartments, menus) and understand the gist of texts with the help of language tools.

- be able to manage in writing in a few everyday situations. You will be able to write short text messages on your phone.

- know some French-speaking countries and their customs.

    Learning more about the basic grammatical structures of French and expanding your basic vocabulary for everyday purposes, acquiring a limited economics vocabulary and managing in common communication situations at work and in everyday life, and getting to know some customs of the French-speaking world

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    1. Lectures 36 h, active participation in class (10%). 80% attendance in class is required. Registration must be confirmed by attending the first lecture.

    2. Classroom tests and/or written assignments (20%)
