Please note! Course description is confirmed for two academic years, which means that in general, e.g. Learning outcomes, assessment methods and key content stays unchanged. However, via course syllabus, it is possible to specify or change the course execution in each realization of the course, such as how the contact sessions are organized, assessment methods weighted or materials used.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After completing this course, the student
1. knows the key concepts in decision analysis,
2. can structure and model problems with multiple attributes, decision dynamics and uncertainty for aiding decision-making,
3. understands the assumptions underlying decision analytic models and why the behaviour of real decision-makers may differ from the behaviour that these models would predict, and
4. knows how to use optimization methods in conjunction with decision analysis.
