After the course, the student:

  • is familiar with the degree structure and contents of the Chemistry and Materials Science MSc programme.
  • is familiar with the student services and wellbeing services at Aalto University.
  • is able to plan their MSc studies and update the study plan as necessary.
  • is able to give constructive feedback related to studies and study environment.
  • knows the MSc thesis process in the programme and is aware of the possibilities for finding a topic for the MSc thesis.
  • has an understanding of the industrial and academic career possibilities in chemistry and materials science.
  • knows what kind of possibilities there are for doctoral studies at the Aalto School of Chemical Engineering.
