- Apply computational tools for modeling biological systems and analyzing biological data.

- Understand regulatory and safety guidelines governing the use of synthetic biology.

Content

This course combines principles from biology, engineering, computer science, and other disciplines to design and construct new biological entities, systems, or functions that do not exist in nature or to redesign existing biological systems for useful purposes.

Evaluation of learning of the course content is measured in the final examination.
