CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    By listening to visiting and seminar lectures as well as scientific and artistic discussions at academicdoctoral dissertations (organized by Aalto ARTS or other suitable universities), the student gets acquainted with the current field of aesthetics and art research as well as artistic research.

Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Student chooses and attends academic events (2–3) and to compile written reports based on the event contents. One pdf file is returned to MyCourses by the end of the course according to the instructions.

Workload
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    Seminars, dissertations and/or individual lectures are covered with 1 ECTS (3 pages) or 2 ECTS (5 pages) reports, and when a total of 3 ECTS (1+2 ECTS or 1+1+1 ECTS) has been completed, the student will acquire the grade. The course is marked as completed only after the entire module has been completed (no partial completions).
