CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    - Expanding basic vocabulary (e.g. housing, the outdoors, schooling, work)
    - Expanding knowledge of grammar: the object form, forms for referring to the past)
    - Practising everyday conversational situations

    Teaching time 11.3.-13.5.2025. Teaching hours online on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17-18.30. No teaching on Tuesday 1.5.2025.

    Teaching hours are not recorded. Students are expected to be present at the lectures.

    Minimun one submitted writing assignment.

    Written and oral examination.

    The examinations will be held as a remote examinations in MyCourses. The teacher will give further information on examinations.


Assessment Methods and Criteria

    Active partisipation to the lessions and independent work.

     Minimum one submitted and approved writing assignment out of the three assignments given.

    Written exame 20.5.2025. To pass the exam, you must get at least 50% of the assignments correct

    Participation in the oral exam.

    The oral exam is taken in pairs. The exam takes about 15-20 minutes per person.
