    29.1 Opening: Setting the scene for DataNow

    31.1 Using Workshops for Data Collection by Leah

    • Introduction (5 minutes max.)
    • Short Activity (students discuss topic in pairs leading to group discussion) (15 minutes)
    • Power Presentation (I will provide background on using workshops) (40 minutes)
    • Hand-out with supplementary materials (5 minutes)
    • Introduce Group Assignment (design a workshop activity for a specific topic) (20 minutes)

    • In-class work time for group assignment

    • Groups prepare activity (15 minutes)
    • Each group leads class through activity (TBD depends on number of groups)
