    Learning Outcomes:

     

    Students gain the basic knowledge needed for the systematic self-study of Chinese characters. Students learn approx. 120 of the most common Chinese characters and vocabulary in which they are used.
    Content:
     
     Getting to know the structural principles and uses of Chinese characters. Students learn characters needed for the vocabulary used on the course Chinese 1 (“Contemporary Chinese” chapter 1-3 vocabulary lists)

     

    Assessment Methods and Criteria: 

     

    • Self-study, 
    • 3 assignments  
    • a final group examination.

    Written test (two possible dates):





    1)     5.4.2019     Friday (9:00 -12.00)   R001/U261
    2)     4.4.2019  Thursday 15.30-18.15  R001/U119    

    You can take the test the same time with your Chinese 1 test!

    I will remind you about the tests again in March!    
    No need to register for the test! 



    Students are recommended to take this course simultaneously with Chinese 1.
    Return and upload the course assignments in MyCourses or directly give them to the teacher the latest on the test date (5.4.2019).
