  • Welcome to Real Estate Development course! 


    No compulsory participation EXCEPT THE FIRST LECTURE AND PRESENTATION DAY!

    -   First lecture (27.02.2019) and presentation day (03.04.2019) (obligatory participation).

    -   Learning diary + comment on peers (10% of grade)

    -   Group work & Pitching your development proposal (40% of grade)

    -   Exam (50% of the grade)

    Student's workload: 6 cr = 162 h 

    –Lectures 32 h (8 x 2 h contact sessions) + (reflection 8 x 2 h) 

    –Group assignment 50 h

    –Independent work 32 h 

    –Preparing for examination 45 h 

    –Examination 3 h 

    After the course the student is: 

     •able to describe the development process and its phases, different actors and their roles. 

     •is familiar with land politics and plan implementation tools. 

     •is able to describe the relation between planning and development process and varying scopes of development processes. 

     •is able to discuss the multidimensional aspects of development process. 

     •is able to analyze the content and purpose of development plans.
