    • Teaching culture at Aalto University
    • Approaches to learning
    • Planning and practicing for a teaching session
    • Developing your own teaching and teacher identity
    • Working in a multidisciplinary group

    The contents of this course may vary depending on the specific needs and objectives of each group. Teaching and learning methods on this course include introductions to new topics, group work (partly online), experimentation through practice, demonstrations, case examples and peer feedback. Participants are encouraged and expected to have an active role in the learning process.

    • Here comes some practicalities in this course:

      • Absences
      There are five sessions in the course and we hope you will be able to attend them all.  One absence is allowed and if you need to be absent, you get the substitute assignment to compensate your absence. Please, inform Miia or Samu of your absence.  

      • Teaching assistant as a learning instructor -training

      If you have finished the Teaching assistant as a learning instructor course (2cr) recently, you are allowed to skip some parts of the course assignments or do them in a different way. Please notify Miia or Samu.
