Mandatory introductory lectures during spring 2021. For those starting the seminar this autumn, please note that there are three compulsory introductory lectures without which you cannot pass the seminar. If you have previously attented these lectures, there is no need to retake them. These will take place as shown below.

    • Lecture 1 (Intro): Tuesday 12.1. at 15:15 - 17:00 (ZOOM)
    • Lecture 2 (Quali): Tuesday 19.1. at 15:15 - 17:00 (ZOOM)
    • Lecture 3 (Quant): Tuesday 26.1. at 15:15 - 17:00 (ZOOM)

After these sessions, the seminar groups will meet as scheduled in each groups' section - if there are enough presenters (2) to form a session. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic situation, this course arranged at least in the beginning remotely and changes in teaching time and location may occur. We will inform of these changes via Announcements, which will send you an e-mail to your aalto.fi -mail in the case of new announcement. Please enroll yourself in this course page to get access to seminar group sections and to receive Announcements! You can ask various questions in the General discussion forum, which will be answered by the assistant.

DURING THE COURSE, THE STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO RECORD THEIR OWN ATTENDANCE. PLEASE MARK YOUR ATTENDANCE WITH BOXES BELOW WHEN ATTENDING LECTURES/SEMINARS.

Survey of the need for extra seminars in spring 2021 Questionnaire
Not available unless: You are a(n) Student

We are currently trying to establish if there is a need for any extra seminars in June to ensure that everyone has a chance to present a plan or a thesis during the spring. The survey will close at midnight 26.4.

    • Questionnaire icon
Your seminar group and thesis supervisor Questionnaire
      Not available unless any of:
      • You are a(n) Student
      • You are a(n) Teacher
      • You are a(n) Manager

NOTE: answer this 2-item survey only after the would-be supervisor has agreed to supervise your thesis.

Please select which seminar group you belong to i.e. ISS/BA/Logistics. This is for keeping track on how many (active) students each group has. This doesn't limit your ability to attend other groups' seminars. Input your thesis supervisor so, in the case we need to ask something from your thesis supervisor, we do not have to go through the whole department. And again, for keeping a track of thesis supervisors' workload.
