    Course description

The course provides the students with insights into the various important functional inorganic material families employed in new sustainable energy technologies, conventional electronics and optics, as well as spintronics and other emerging application fields. The course covers among others the superconducting, magnetic, ferroelectric, thermoelectric, Li-ion and oxide-ion conductive and photoactive materials, and also the physical phenomena behind the targeted material functions. The focus is on new materials.
