    The Zoom classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 16.15–17.45.

    Study Material: Oma Suomi 1 (Chapters 1-5) 
    Please notice that the book is compulsory for completing the course.

    Examinations:
    Written examination(6.5.2021) & Oral examination (time will be announced later) 

    The work load in the course is 81 hours: 36 hours of contact teaching and 45 hours of independent work. Set a side enough time for studying at home!

    1.4-8.4.21 Chapter 4: Shopping for groceries (Kappale 4: Ruokakaupassa)

    20.4-29.4.21 Chapter 5: My home (Kappale 5: Kotini)

    4.5.21 Refreshing your knowledge before the exam

    6.5.21 The final exam


    Completing the course 

    1) Active participation, max. 3 absences 

    2) Written assignment "My family and friends", due date 21.3.21

    3) Creating a video "My usual day", due date  4.4.21

    4) Completing MyCourses activities, min. 80 % 

    5) The final exam: the written part in MyCourses and the oral part: a group conversation in Zoom, which will be recorded.

    The final grade will be based on your homework 40 % and the final exam 60%.
