    Learning outcomes

    Get familiar with problem solving in operations research.


    Two fairly large assignments on implementation and analysis of mathematical models. The assignments deal with control, optimization and stabilization of dynamic systems.

    Assessment methods and criteria

    Solving assignments and writing reports. The reports are evaluated with the scale 0 - 5. The reports are graded based on the first submitted version and the report is accepted when possible corrections are made. The grade of the course is based on the average grade of the assignments.

    There are no lectures held during the course, with the exception of the introductory lectures held for each assignment, in which the content and goals of the assignment and the methods utilized are introduced. The assignments are completed in pairs.
