    Tutkimusaikaa on jatkettu, ja tutkimukseen voi osallistua 30.6. iltaan asti.

    Tietotekniikan laitoksen jatko-opiskelija Abby Zavgorodniaia tekee ohjelmoinnin opetukseen liittyvää tutkimusta, johon osallistumisesta saa 200 ylimääräistä harjoitustehtäväpistettä. Tutkimus alkaa kognitiivisilla testeillä, jotka voi tehdä vaikka heti. Niiden jälkeen tuleva osa liittyy funktioiden oppimiseen, joten se on tarkoitus tehdä siinä vaiheessa, kun on tehnyt kierroksen kolme tehtäviä, mutta ei vielä aloittanut kierroksen 4 materiaaliin tutustumista. Tutkimukseen voi kuitenkin osallistua vain 23.6. 30.6. iltaan asti. Tutkimus on englanniksi. Katso mainosvideo. Alla on tutkimuksesta tarkempaa tietoa:

    What you get: 200 extra course points; scores and feedback on your working memory and thinking skills; knowledge about functions in Python.

    When to participate: the cognitive tests can be done any time from June, 1st. The following learning part is to be done after you passed Round 3 at A+ and before you start learning the Functions (Round 4). The last participation day is June, 23rd June 30th.  Please, follow the instructions and be honest -- you will get the points for the participation anyway and we very much need good data.

    How to participate: the study contains 4 cognitive tests (all with provided feedback), a small pre-test (not to worry about) and learning materials. You can deal with each part one at a time. Click on the link below and you will be directed to the experiment details and the first cognitive test. You can use that link whenever you want to continue the participation, the system will show where you left. Note, if you exit any of the activities in the middle of it, you will have to start it again.

    I’m done, now what?: at the end of the participation you will get a generated code which you will need to paste in the corresponding assignment at MyCourses and submit. This is for us to know who will get the points.

Koodin palauttaminen osoittaa sinun tehneen tutkimuksen, ja saat sen avulla tutkimuksesta tulevat 200 ylimääräistä harjoitustehtäväpistettä. Pisteitä ei näy A+-järjestelmässä, mutta ne lisätään pisteisiisi siinä vaiheessa, kun kurssin harjoitustehtävätulokset lasketaan.
