Topic outline

  • Content: The objective is to improve participants' understanding about theory and design processes of value networks in Internet and to apply this understanding in design cases on the field. Especially the linkage between the distributed on-line structure (i.e. technical architecture) and the value network (i.e. market architecture) is emphasized. The course focuses on the field exercises implemented as team work and in close collaboration with the chosen Internet-connected firms. This time the timely and educational field cases include a heart monitoring service (Nukute Oy), EV charging service (Plugit Finland Oy), residential solar energy service (Helen Oy), and cryptocurrency (LocalBitcoins Oy).
