    • The Hydrological modelling -course will be held on Mondays (9:00-12:00) and Thursdays (12:30-16:00) during period III (10.1.-25.2.2022).

The sessions will be organised online in Zoom and Teams at least for the first 2 weeks in the course. This is due to the current pandemic situation to maximise students' participation in the sessions. See "Course environment" -link for details.

The course starts on Monday 10 January 2022 at 9:00.

The course will focus on weekly themes with exercises on modeling applications.

On Tuesdays at 16:15-18:00 there is additional time for working on exercises and getting advice.

      The themes and program:

10 Jan, 13 Jan: Meteorological input of a hydrological model (Exercise).

17 Jan, 20 Jan: Soil water and drainage model construction (Exercise).

24 Jan, 27 Jan: Simulation of agricultal water management (Exercise).

31 Jan, Simulation modelling (Exercise). Introduction to drainage design.

3 Feb: Drainage design (group work).

7 Feb: Estimation of nutrient loads (Exercise).

10 Feb: Phosphorous cycle and processes (group work).

14 Feb, 17 Feb: Urban hydrological modelling with SWMM (exercise and group work).

21 Feb: Urban hydrological modelling with SWMM (group work)
