  Welcome to the course. Due to the pandemic, the course will take place online in 2022. The zoom link is here:  https://aalto.zoom.us/j/62171356964 , the first lecture will be on January 13th, 2022, at 12.15 

  There will be lectures with pre-readings from my freely downloadable ebook (https://bookboon.com/fi/introduction-to-cognitive-neuroscience-ebook). Before the first lecture, please read ahead of time chapter 6 "Attention" of this book. Ahead of the Jan 20th lecture, please read chapter 7, ahead of the Jan 27th lecture, please read chapters 8 and 9, ahead of the 3rd February please read chapters 10 and 11, and ahead of the 10th of February lecture, please read chapters 12 and 13. The final 17th of February session will have a guest lecturer and question-and-answer session. On the lectures, I will expand and add depth to what there is in the book on the topic, it greatly helps the learning process that everyone reads the book chapter ahead of time.
  

  NEW! Course grading information: the grade will be based on exam that covers the pre-readings from the book and the lectures. For the final grade, this grade will be rounded up if a student has submitted at least 3 of the 6 learning diaries.

  Other details will be given on the first lecture. You are most warmly welcome to participate on the course :-)
