To complete the course, there are two assignments to be completed.
DL for the first assignment is Tuesday, October 5 at 23:59.
DL for the second assignment is Wednesday, October 20 at 23:59.
Please, see the instructions below, and the evaluation matrices. Each assignment gives you a maximum of 5 points.
You may submit your answer in English, Finnish or Swedish.
-
During the course, you will write an essay handling an institution in real estate economics. You choose the institution and the aspect yourself. In the essay, you should discuss about the chosen institution based on scientific literature. Please, check the evaluation matrix provided below.
Submit your final essay on Friday, October 29 at 23:59, latest. Late submissions will not be graded and thus the course can not be completed. If you have an urgent reason, please inform it via email kirsikka.riekkinen@aalto.fi. In these cases, each starting 24 hours for late submissions will lower your grading by 2 points.
Since we are using TurnitIn for the submissions, there is a possibility for you to practice this tool. Please make sure that when you are submitting the final version for grading, you upload it under 'final submission'. You can practice and read the originality report by submitting the essay in 'version not for evaluation' return box. The teachers will not open these submissions or their originality reports.
You have a possibility for mid-term feedback. To get the feedback, please submit your draft (including the issues you want to get the feedback about) in the 'Mid-term feedback' submission box on Friday, October 8th, latest. You will get the feedback in one week.
-
The exam consists of 3 questions (note a+b=1 question), of which you choose 2 to answer. The length of the answer box is approx. 1 A4, longer answers will not be graded. Please note that this is an individually completed task and avoid copy&paste.
The exam opens at 16.30 and closes at 19.30. In case of technical problems, please contact Kirsikka (kirsikka.riekkinen@aalto.fi, +358505696337).
Good luck with the exam!
