CONTENT, ASSESSMENT AND WORKLOAD

Content

    The course consists of three themes, which all develop the student s oral communication skills as well as written expression. The course includes exercises that allow students to practise B2-level Spanish independently. The themes focus on: 1) The linguistic diversity of the Spanish-speaking world 2) the global food waste issue and solving it with the help of new technologies; and 3) strategies for communicating at a multicultural workplace.

Assessment Methods and Criteria
  • valid for whole curriculum period:

    This is an independently studied online course, which has several parts to be taken in a specific order in accordance with the schedule given. In addition, the student must participate actively in the discussions on the course discussion forum. There is no examination. Passing the course requires that:

    1) 80% of exercises have been passed
    2) all group work videos and personal recordings have been made.
    3) all written exercises have been completed.
