    Welcome to SDN Fundamentals & Techniques Course

    The course will start on Tuesday 18.1.2022, 10:15-12:00  with professor Raimo Kantola's opening lecture. Course lectures will be online. Scroll down for Zoom link.

    Lectures: On Tuesdays 10:15-12:00 online starting 18.1.

    Please note: You will need to use your own laptop or desktop PC during the course and you should have the possibility to install Linux as a virtual machine to it. Additional help to install Linux will be given in exercises.

    Assessement


    The practical assignments will begin in February. Each lecture will have a set of quizzes you will need to answer to. 

    The minimum requirement to pass this course is :

      • 50% of the total points given to the practical assignments.
      • 50% of the exam.

    Please make sure to follow the practical assignments as most of the learning outcomes will be met in these exercises.

    • For the grading system, it is gonna be decided by the number of points collected by the student:
      • <50 : F (Fail, grade 0)
      • 50-59 : E (Pass, grade 1)
      • 60-69 : D (grade 2)
      • 70-79 : C (grade 3)
      • 80-89 : B (grade 4)
      • 90-100 : A (grade 5)
    NB: Please make sure you get 50% of the points allocated to the exam (i.e, 15/30) and the demos (20/40) to be able to pass the course.
