LEARNING OUTCOMES
'UWAS Project' courses offer students the opportunity to get involved in transdisciplinary art or design based projects. The students learn about the practicalities of transdisciplinary collaboration as well as art and design based methods in project work.

Regular attendance required. Passing the course requires attending 80% of the lessons.

Students will assemble transdiciplinary groups to collaborate in the production of one podcast episode.
Assessment of the podcast projects is given (3-5 credits) according to the level of completion of: group assignments given throughout the course, individual participation in the different activities in Mycourses, and especially the time investment needed for research, fieldwork, and edition of the episode submitted at the end by each group. This way, groups may chose to do more or less involved audio projects based on their preference and time availability, and the credits will reflect it.
Attendance to 80% of the contact teaching sessions is required (6 sessions), which will run in person only. Independent group work will have the same schedule and rooms of the class as a baseline (31.03.22-14.04.22), but students may work remotely if desired.

UWAS course selection criteria: Registration order is not the primary selection criteria for this course. In order to ensure that students from different programs and schools of Aalto University may take UWAS courses, the selection is also based on the variety of students' disciplines. Master's students are also welcome.
