ENG-E1010 Practical training (2021–2022)
Practical training is recommended to all master students who have started their studies in the fall 2021 at the School of Engineering. Student can include 1-5 cr of practical training to master’s degree (elective studies). The extent of the practical training is 1 to 5 credits. Two weeks of full time work (37,5 – 40 h / week) equals 1 credit point (max 10 weeks=5 cr).
The practical training consists of a work placement in a suitable company or other work community. The tasks should be typical for the later M.Sc work profiles.
Requirements of the course:
- At least 2 weeks of full-time work (37,5 – 40 h / week) in a suitable company or other work community.
- For part time work calculate the hours you have worked, 75 hours equals 1 credit point (max 375 hours = 5 credits).
- Copy the report template here.
- Find more instructions and Return box of your own Programme in the left frame.
- Include to your report also Employer’s reference or other document of working tasks signed by the employer.
ENG-E1010 Harjoittelu (2021–2022)
Harjoittelua suositellaan osana diplomi-insinöörin opintoja kaikille syksyllä 2021 aloittaneille Insinööritieteiden korkeakoulun opiskelijoille. Tutkintorakenteessa harjoittelu sijoittuu vapaasti valittaviin opintoihin. Kurssin laajuus on 1-5 opintopistettä. Kaksi viikkoa täysipäiväistä työskentelyä (37.5-40h/viikko) vastaa yhtä opintopistettä (max 10 viikkoa=5op).
Harjoittelun tarkoituksena on syventää ammattitaitoa työskentelemällä oman alan työtehtävissä, jotka vastaavat DI:n mahdollisia tulevia työnkuvia.
Kurssin suorittaminen vaatii:
- Vähintään 2 viikkoa täysipäiväistä (37,5-40 h) työskentelyä soveltuvassa yrityksessä/työyhteisössä.
- Osa-aikaisen työn kohdalla laske tehdyt työtunnit, 75 tuntia vastaa yhtä opintopistettä (maksimi 375 tuntia = 5 op).
- Kopioi raportin pohja tästä.

- Skannaa työtodistus tai vastaava työnantajan allekirjoittama dokumentti työtehtävien soveltuvuudesta diplomi-insinöörin tutkinnon työharjoittelukurssin suorittamiseksi mukaan raporttiin.
