Topic outline

    • GROUND RULES

      The following course ground rules apply in this course:

      • The course starts at 9.15 sharp and a one-hour lunch break will be taken, usually at 12.00-13.00 unless otherwise indicated during the session. Short breaks will be given in the morning and afternoon sessions.
      • Students are expected to attend all sessions and actively participate in the discussions and tutorials.
      • Lecture sessions will be held in class on Thursdays. In exceptional cases, a student can attend the lecture part only via Zoom, if a valid reason is provided (such as inability to join the class due to sickness, certificate provided).
      • Regular weekly input by all course participants is expected, and Friday sessions are dedicated to the course work.
      • In case of an absence, make sure the course instructors are informed ahead of the session.
      • If you are unable to present at the final presentation due to sickness (medical certificate is required), you have the possibility to present on 13.04.2023 (or a week after the final presentation date).
      • If you are unable to present at the final presentation due to other reasons, you have the possibility to present on the 13.04.2023 (grade will be lowered by -1) OR 20.04.2023 (grade will be lowered by -2) (or: a week or two weeks after the final presentation date).
      • All due dates on which student presentations are held are assessed. Students should be present during these dates. In case of sickness or a valid reason (proof provided) for an absence, a date will be rescheduled for the student to present their contibution to the team work.
    • Course grading

      The grading in this studio is distributed as follows:

      • Task 1 - 15%
      • Task 2 - 25%
      • Task 3 - 5%
      • Task 4 - 15%
      • Task 5 - 35% + 5%
