      Pre-assignment for Glass Challenge 2023
Not available unless: You are a(n) Student

Design an object in blown glass. It can be an object you’ve always wanted to have or an idea you’ve previously had on your mind. Or it can for example be a pretty vase or a cup you need at home or a shape that interests you. Or something else.

If you feel that you don’t know enough about glass to design something, don’t worry. This is not a test and the outcomes are not evaluated.

The idea of the assignment is to collect projects for blowing demos. The designs will be given to our glass studio masters and they will select the projects that will be realized on the first week’s blowing demo days. We might be lucky and get all the designs realized, depending on how complicated they are. Some designs might need to be simplified or altered a bit but feel free to use your imagination to start with.

Upload a 1-page pdf-file here. It should include your name, a sketch of the object and its size (height, width).

Please upload your files by Monday 9th Jan, 13:00. I'll forward the designs to the studio masters on Monday evening.
