    Welcome!

    Welcome to the Acoustics and the Physics of Sound course 2022!

    This course covers some of the most important acoustic topics from the physics point of view. The course also includes a practical introduction to the simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics.

    The lectures are given on Tuesdays (12:15-14:00) and Thursdays (14:15-16:00), and seminars on Thursdays (16:15-18:00). Lectures and seminars are at Deloitte - U119.

    Homework 5 is a group assignment.

    Important Note:

    There is no contact teaching on 25th and 27th of October. The course teachers are taking part to major event of the field, International Congress on Acoustics, which is held triannually. 

    The first lecture is recorded 18th of October. It will be held at Karjalainen at 12:15 (Otakaari 5, Karjalainen E208b) right at the Acoustic Labs. The lecture will be Hybrid, you can attend in person or via Zoom. There will also be a recording of the lecture for those who can't attend. The second lecture for 27th October will be a video upload and will be provided via MyCourses. The students are may watch the recordings on the times of the lectures. 

    From 1st Nov, we will continue as planned with the lectures at Deloitte - U119.
