      Aalto Talent Expo recruitment and contact fair will take place on Thursday November 10th 2022, at 11.00-17.00 in Otahalli. In addition, virtual contact opportunities (Virtual events organized by exhibitors, 1:1 video meetings, CV & LinkedIn -clinic and more!) will be organized on JobTeaser 8-9th of November.

      Aalto Talent Expo questionnaire
      1. Study the Aalto Talent Expo 2022 programme. Note that there is also virtual programme organised on Tue-Wed 8-9th of November, which you can participate (registration required, starting on Wed, Nov 2nd).
      2. Based on the offered programme, name two objectives you want to achieve through participating the event. The objectives must be something concrete you achieve, e.g. finding out job opportunities in a company you did not know before, asking advice for your career planning from an expert, updating your CV. Naming as an objective simply attendance to a single event (e.g. a workshop or webinar) is not acceptable!
      3. Keeping in mind the objectives you set, choose the events you will attend from the Aalto Talent Expo 2022 programme and register to these events (if required).
      4. Attend the Expo at 11.00-17.00 on Thursday, November 10th, 2022 in Otahalli.
      5. Answer the questionnaire – be prepared to reflect on how well you could realise the objectives you set for yourself!

      Talent Expo 2022: Compensatory essay Assignment

      If you did not fill in the Aalto Talent Expo questionnaire, write an essay with the topic: "Employment plan: How will I get to know the companies in my field?". In your essay, explain how you will reach these objectives:

      • Starting to look for employment options and planning the career path at an early stage of your M.Sc. studies
      • Getting to know companies and discussing the summer job/internship opportunities with the company representatives
      • Obtaining support for updating your CV and Linkedin profile
      • Figuring out how future working life will be

      The essays should be 400-500 words in length. The deadline for the essays is Saturday, November 19th, 2022, at midnight.
