  • Instructions on course assignments

    • On this page you can find instructions regarding all the three assignments a group must return in relation to their case assignment:

      1. Project proposal (10% of grade)

      2. Final report (70% of grade)

      3. Presentation to case company (20% of grade)

      In all assignments, please make sure to include a cover page with:

      • all group members names and student numbers indicated
      • the email address for person nominated as your group contact person towards the case company (using official Aalto-email for all company and course communications)
      • Date of the submission

      As 100% of the course grade is determined by group assignments, we employ a peer-evaluation on this course to ensure that all group members commit equal amount of effort and work on the group assignments and that no free-riding can occur. Thus, each individual is also asked to submit a peer-evaluation report of their group members once the final report is submitted. The peer-evaluation form is found below, and will need to be completed by all group members. No grades will be released until all students have provided a peer-evaluation of their group members.

      This document contains instructions for the final report to be submitted to your case company. Also note that the final report is evaluated based on the school-level capstone rubric. You should take a close look at this rubric so you understand the grading criteria used for the assignment. The rubric can be viewed in the final report submission box.

    • Questionnaire icon
      Peer evaluation of your group members input Questionnaire

      This form is for peer-evaluation of the input of your group members and yourself during all the stages of your group work on your case assignment. Your peers will not see your answers, only the teacher. The reason for this form is to firstly hopefully prevent any free-riding, but if such has still happened to address this in the grading. Hence, the answers provided by all group members, if consistently pointing to significantly less (or significantly more) work by 1 or more members of the group can lead to a reduction or increase of said group member's grade by 1 grade.
