In autumn 2022 course can be taken online except for the final project presentation. The lectures will be given on campus, but recorded and the recording will be made available online after the course. If you are unable to register for the course at the moment in the Sisu, there is no need to email the lecturer. You can start taking the course and register before the end of the course. Sisu shows rooms on campus for the computer exercises, but only some of  the computer exercises and TA sessions are on campus and most of the session are online (we are preparing the schedule). You can choose which TA session to join each week separately, without a need to register for those sessions.

This MyCourses course page will be used only to share links (see below) to Peergrade, possible Zoom Q&A sessions, the course Zulip chat, and some questionnaires (using MyCourses for the authentication).

For all other course information see the BDA course web page.

    • The project submission in Peergrade is now open. MyCourses integration does not support having two "classes" for one course and thus follow these instructions: 1) Open the course assignment peergrade (this makes you to be logged-in to peergrade with your Aalto account), 2) then use link https://app.peergrade.io/join/NJ2N8U (if you are not logged-in with your Aalto account this link doesn't work)

    • After your presentation, please reflect on the work and contributions you and your team members have made towards both the report and the presentation. Then, grade each member (including yourself) on a scale of 1 to 5.

    • The official and main communication forum is Zulip. All the course material and deadlines are on the course website, but changes during the course will be announced in zulip (#announcements stream). All questions about the course should be asked via Zulip (except the questions related to not being able to login to Zulip) or during lectures and TA sessions (that is, avoid sending email). The preferred way is to ask in public streams so that all TAs and other students can answer, and thus you will get the answer more quickly.
