  • Thesis Supports

    From this Seminar, you have two layers of support throughout your thesis process.

    Supervisors

    - The bachelor theses of the students in the seminar are overseen and supervised by Teemu Leinonen, Oscar Person and Namkyu Chun. 
    - You have 4 presentations before submitting your final manuscript. Supervisor(s) will provide relevant comments to help you improve your thesis corresponding to the stage.
    - You will be assigned to a thesis supervisor based on the topic described in your thesis plan. A supervisor and an advisor is paired up to support your thesis process.

    Advisors
    - Advisors are doctoral candidates in Dept. of Design or Dept. of Art & Media who will support you throughout the thesis process. Following the schedule above, you will meet your advisor in smaller advisory groups to receive support throughout the thesis process and in finalizing your thesis manuscript. 
    - Upon each advisory meeting, you are responsible for going through: (1) what you have done since last time; (2) what you will do next; and (3) what kind of help you may need.
    - You will be assigned to a thesis advisor and advisory group based on the topic described in your thesis plan.  


    Additionally, you have extra supports from the University level.
    - Language Centre: For your academic writing and writing clinic.
