Welcome to the Department of Design Doctoral seminar course!
Requirements for passing the course (2cr):
- Active participation in the seminar (at least 80% of the sessions)
- Presenting your own research on the course (remenber to book your presentation slot)
For the additional 1cr:
- Act as a respondent for another presenter
Remember to agree with your research group leader on the presentation and respondent time.
The presentation lenght is 15 minutes, resonse is max 5 minutes, followed by discussion on the presentation topic.

Two weeks before your presentation, please send your abstract to kaisa.savolainen@aalto.fi. One week before the presentation upload your presentation and/or draft paper to the MyCourses space.
