    Ethical theories can help in systematically reflecting on issues of right and wrong or good and bad in decision-making situations.

    In this section we will explore three basic types of ethical theories which focus on somewhat different issues when evaluating and guiding our actions and behaviour:

    1. Consequentialism

    2. Deontology

    3. Virtue ethics
