  • Good Life Engine is a hands-on self-leadership course that creates a framework for personal growth by providing a toolkit for connecting with the inner self and community.

    Main topics of the course:

    ·                    Self-awareness and connection to self;

    ·                    Long-term orientation and visioning;

    ·                    Presence: practicing living in the moment;

    ·                    Time-management;

    ·                    Mindset flexibility;

    ·                    Empathy and compassion (including self-compassion);

    ·                    Ways to connect with others;

    ·                    Psychological safety;

    ·                    Resilience.

    The course is built in accordance with the Inner Development Goals framework (https://www.innerdevelopmentgoals.org/framework ) and has a human sustainability model in its core (self, emotions, and body).

    Preliminary schedule
    •27.09 – Guest speaker. Topic – Back to essentials. Sleep
    •2.10-6.10 – Aalto Wellbeing week. No GLE sessions, but, you are welcome to join “How to tackle anxiety” (5.10 10.30-12.00 A Grid) and “Energy training” (5.10 14.00-15.00 A Grid) workshops
    •11.10 – Guest speaker + Anna. Topic - Handling uncertainty and finding balance
    •16.10-20.10 – Exam week, no session
    •25.10 – Learning yourself
    •1.11 – Where do you want to go? Goal setting
    •8.11 – How will you get there? Time-management
    •15.11 – Guest speaker. Looking into the future. Career design exercises
    •22.11 – Empathic leadership and coaching
    •29.11 – to be confirmed
    •13.12 – Course wrap-up

    Homework is always found under the current weeks folder. Homework should be done before the next session, if not stated otherwise
