  • Welcome to WDR, Period 1!


    Important! The research paper that you are currently writing forms a core part of this course. That means you need to be writing a paper (=research article or dissertation text) when you come to this course.

    To navigate this course site, click the menu button in the top left corner (orange box with three white lines). From the grey left-hand menu, find all materials and assignments, submission boxes, and forum activities by entering each section. 

    If you cannot find materials or instructions you "think you should be able to find", please let me know and I'll check the settings one more time and/or help you find them.

    I'll be updating MyC throughout the course, as needed. If you come across erroneous dates or dead links, please let me know.

      Weekly Workshops are held on campus (Mondays and Wednesdays 12.30-15.45). In addition, students complete weekly assignments according to strict deadlines. This course applies a flipped-class approach (e.g., prep-work to be completed before coming to class).

      A needs survey will be distributed to students who receive a place on the course. To be completed before the course begins.

      First meeting 4 September 12.30- 

      For successful participation, you need to bring your own draft text to class, be prepared to work on your text and receive and provide peer-feedback.
      3 ECTs = 81 hrs/6 weeks --> Reserve approx. 13.5 hrs/week for this course in your schedule.
