  • Welcome to LC-1112 Online Presentations Skills for Engineers 2 ECTS (o), group V17-18

    Aalto University Language Centre, Otakaari 1.

    This course is mainly based on working independently online (but with weekly assignment deadlines!).

    In addition, each student attends three compulsory live sessions on weeks 1, 4 and 6 of the course.

    1) Kick-off meeting for everyone on Wed 25 October, 10:00-11:30 via Zoom. The link is provided in the course welcoming email and here. Please notice that Assignment 2 will be reviewed in the session – thus, please complete Assignment 2 (part 1), before the session and be prepared to present and discuss your answers with the other students. 

    2) Rehearsal sessions. Each student participates in one session only.

    • Session 1: 9.30-11.30 Wednesday, 15 November in U121b (Otakaari 1)
    • Session 2: 12.30-14.30 Wednesday, 15 November in U121b (Otakaari 1)
    • Session 3: 9.30-11.30 Thursday, 16 November in U410a (Otakaari 1) NOTE, bring your own laptop.
    • Session 4: 12.30-14.30 Thursday, 16 November in U121a (Otakaari 1)
    Please sign up for the session through "Scheduler 1: Practice Sessions" available below from 8.00 on 30 October.

    3) Final presentation conferences.     Each student participates in one conference only.

    • Session 1: 9.30-11.30 Wednesday, 29 November in U121a (Otakaari 1)
    • Session 2: 12.30-14.30 Wednesday, 29 November in U115a (Otakaari 1) NOTE, bring your own laptop.
