This year’s ‘Curatorial Intensive’ will address multiple questions, research fields, topics, and urgencies in their relation to artistic/curatorial practice and research. From questions around art’s capacity and involvement in the production of reality to perspectives in neuroscience and studies on neurodivergence and how art/curating can think through, research, and articulate the issues these perspectives make apparent. And from the politics of space and fiction to questions around inclusion and disability in art institutions and museums. We will be joined by guests: Miguel Ángel Rego, Amanda Beech, and Culture for All’s ‘Making Space for Artistry– Equity for Disabled Artists’ project. Talks, readings, screenings, and discussions will make up the core of the workshop in addition to a one day in-class assignment and discussion. Download the PDF for full details. More updates coming soon.
