Week 7
20th hand in diary and website material–
Living with feral ecologies, 16.09.23, 11-23.00h
The more-than-human festival explores ways of knowing, caring and relating to our lives as integrated into more-than-human ecosystems.
The festival program consists of two parts. The first part – taking place in the daytime (diurnal) – is structured as a design symposium consisting of talks, panels, and sharing circles addressing themes and issues in multispecies care, synthetic sensing, algorithmic agencies, ocean literacy, forest data and more. The second part of the festival – taking place in the evening (nocturnal) – is a series of workshops, experimental walks and material engagements thematically built around darkness, multispecies perception, and co-habitation in urban environments.
Both festival parts are thematically and conceptually intertwined and invite the participation of citizens interested in these topics. Children are warmly welcome to the festival as talented multispecies storytellers of our time.
Date, 16th of Sept, 11-23 (preliminary time)
Location: Lapinlahden Lähde (Puutarhapiha)
