    TEXTILE FIBRES


    There are multiple types of textile fibres with different properties and applications. As a designer, it is essential to understand the properties of different fibre types to be able to utilize them in the design work.

    Topics 2.1-2.4 teaches you the different textile fibres; classification, production, properties, applications, and environmental impacts. Complete the topics by 4th October.


    Written Assignment 2/4

    Choose one textile fibre (cotton, polyester, etc.) and introduce the basic properties of the fibre. What kind of product would you produce out of this material? What makes the fibre suitable for that product and its end use? Attach your text (about 1 page) to your 1st submission (deadline 4th October).
