  • Background. Midjourney.

    Start of the course 25.10. at 9:15 in space M202 (Väre)

    Description: The course is a theoretical introduction to different historically conditioned and emerging paradigms in urban design, encouraging a critical and analytical approach to relevant literature.

    Duration: Period II
    From the 25th of November, to the 13th of December (7 sessions, no session on the 6th of December).
    The course events are scheduled on Wednesday mornings, at 9-12.

    Location: M202 in the Väre building.

    Content: a series of thematic lectures concerning urban design thinking, exploring urban form in its historical and contemporary context(s). The course concludes with seminar presentations by the students.

    Completing the course: attendance and participation in discussions. The students produce an essay and a presentation on a selected topic.

    Registration: Through Sisu. 40 students.
